Founded in 2002, Linux Tech Networks is one of the original hosting administrative and monitoring companies. In fact, prior to our offering it, no other company offered monitoring with their systems administrative packages.
We've come a long way since 2002 and broadened our horizons a bit, but the focus is still on server administration and monitoring. Why? It's what we love to do. We live for solving Linux problems, we thrive on them.
At Linux Tech Networks, the belief is that administrative services should be affordable, based in the U.S.. We provide support through a variety of venues, all available on our contact page
Our head tech has had 25 years of computer experience, 15 + of those being in Linux and programming (php/MySQL/C). Starting when he was 10, he's been working with computers since 1983 and has been administrating and using Linux servers since 1995.
Originally founded to earn additional cash as a part time job, it quickly became clear that it was more economical to abandon the day job and work completely on Linux Tech Networks. Since that day (November 11, 2002), Linux Tech Networks has been a self sufficient entity, a full time job for the owner and founder, Tom Whiting.
